The beginning of the journey into the Ogliastra culinary tradition then continues with the burrida, according to the grandmother’s recipe (with race, walnuts, and vinegar), with fish ravioli and ravioli with cuttlefish ink, prepared with fresh pasta.

Il fascino antico dei fuochi d’inverno torna a illuminare la costa ogliastrina. Il prossimo 24 gennaio, la Piazza Principessa di Navarra si trasformerà nel cuore pulsante della comunità per la celebrazione di “Su fogone”, il tradizionale falò in onore di Sant’Antonio Abate.

L’evento, che fonde fede e folklore, è promosso dal Comitato Sant’Antonio 2026 in stretta sinergia con la Parrocchia Beata Vergine Assunta. Non si tratta di una semplice festa, ma di un rito collettivo che invita residenti e visitatori a riscoprire il piacere della convivialità attorno alle fiamme.

Protagonista della serata sarà sa paniscedda, il dolce tipico di questa ricorrenza. Preparato seguendo le ricette tramandate di generazione in generazione, il dolce verrà distribuito a tutti i presenti come simbolo di abbondanza e condivisione, permettendo ai turisti e ai più giovani di assaporare un pezzo autentico della cultura popolare sarda.

A rendere l’atmosfera ancora più suggestiva sarà la musica dal vivo. Piazza Principessa di Navarra risuonerà delle note di due grandi interpreti della tradizione isolana: Carlo Boeddu e Carlo Crisponi. Le loro esibizioni accompagneranno l’accensione del grande falò, trasformando la piazza in un palcoscenico a cielo aperto dove la danza e il canto si intrecceranno al crepitio del fuoco.

Il Comitato e la Parrocchia rinnovano l’invito a non mancare a questo appuntamento: «Vi aspettiamo per vivere insieme una serata speciale, un momento di pausa tra tradizione e gusto che scalda l’inverno».
