With the beginning of the summer season, the streets of the historic center of Cagliari are transformed into the meeting point for tourists from all over the world: lovers of history and what the city once was, can discover the characteristic neighborhoods of Stampace and the wonders of the Castel. On the other hand, a few kilometers from the city center, the Poetto coast is home to sea lovers and when the sun sets, you go in search of a “fresh” break.

Coming back from the sea, still wearing the swimsuit and the skin reddened by the sun, we decided to stop at Kremet, an artisan ice cream parlor with two locations, one in Piazza Yenne and the other in Viale Colombo, in the center of Quartu Sant’Elena, a few minutes from the Poetto beach.

It’s Sunday morning: next to us a customer lets himself be guided by the Kremet staff in the difficult choice of the cake to take to the family lunch. Cakes, semifreddo, and Bavarian, decorated in a minimal and elegant way, fill the showcase that fascinates us with a play of shapes and colors.

First of all the “Black Pearl” – a Bavarian inspired by the trend of pistachio ice cream – with a soft heart of pistachio and a covering of chocolate glaze.

The choice is truly vast, from fruit cheesecake – garnished with strawberries and red fruits – to alternative combinations for the more curious based on peanuts, pistachio, salted caramel, white and dark chocolate.

Between large cakes to share with friends and small single portions to enjoy while walking, we can choose the right parfait for every occasion.

Sitting at the tables, we decide to taste the summer version of churros, a delicacy that we thought we could only eat in winter turns into a fresh and delicious dessert for the summer. How? Accompanying the typical Spanish sticks of fried dough with scoops of ice cream and a dollop of cream.

There are many combinations that can be made, but summer is the season of fruit: watermelon, melon, pineapple, peaches, strawberries, and cherries are the real protagonists so why not accompany our churros with the tropical and fresh taste of ice cream with mango and passion fruit?

 Then there is a product that does not know seasonality, we are talking about the brioche with ice cream, originally from Sicily and now known throughout Italy. We advise you to stuff it as the Sicilians do: with pistachio and almond.

Before leaving, let’s take a last look at the ice cream counter and we realize that among the flavors new creams have been introduced, without sugar and without milk and its derivatives: perfect for a walk after dinner and suitable for any type of intolerance.

Martina Cardia, in arte ARTINA, è una cantante originaria di Quartu Sant’Elena, in provincia di Cagliari, e ha 33 anni. Il suo nome d’arte nasce da un profondo legame con la propria identità: un omaggio al nome di battesimo, che si fonde con l’essenza dell’arte, presente in lei fin dall’infanzia.

Sin da piccolissima, infatti, l’arte ha rappresentato per lei una via d’espressione naturale. La sua prima esibizione avvenne a soli tre anni, nella chiesa del suo paese, dove cantò “Madonna nera” di fronte a un pubblico numeroso, con una naturalezza sorprendente per una bambina. Da allora, il canto è diventato compagno quotidiano di vita.

Dopo il diploma, Martina ha intrapreso lo studio del canto moderno presso un’accademia di Cagliari. Da quel momento, il suo percorso si è arricchito di esperienze dal vivo in tutta la Sardegna, tra piazze, locali, resort e hotel. La sua determinazione e il suo talento l’hanno portata ad aprire i concerti di artisti come Bianca Atzei, Emis Killa, Il Pagante, Valentina Persia e altri nomi della scena italiana.

Nel 2023 è stata finalista del concorso internazionale “New York Canta”, esibendosi davanti a una giuria composta da artisti come Clementino e LDA. Nello stesso anno, ha conquistato la medaglia d’argento alle Nazionali della Performer Italian Cup a Roma, un riconoscimento che conferma il suo talento e la sua presenza scenica.

Tra le tappe più significative del suo percorso recente c’è anche la partecipazione alla masterclass “Professione Cantante”, dove ha avuto l’occasione di farsi ascoltare da professionisti del settore come Federica Camba, Tony Vandoni (direttore artistico di Radio Italia) e Kikko Palmosi, oggi suo produttore musicale. Proprio da questo incontro è nata una svolta: la consapevolezza di voler raccontare la propria verità artistica con coraggio e sincerità.

Il suo primo singolo, “Lontano da qui”, è il frutto di questo desiderio. Un brano carico di sensibilità, nato da un periodo difficile, che si trasforma in un messaggio di rinascita, forza e speranza. Attraverso il dolore, ARTINA ha scelto di creare, di trasformare il disordine in musica, dando voce a chi, come lei, cerca la luce oltre le difficoltà. “Lontano da qui” è stato prodotto a Milano da Kikko Palmosi, accompagnato da un videoclip girato tra studio e set fotografici.

Attualmente, Martina è impegnata in diverse ospitate radiofoniche tra Roma, Milano e la Sardegna, mentre lavora a nuove canzoni che raccontino altri frammenti della sua storia. Con una determinazione incrollabile e una passione che brucia ogni giorno, continua a lavorare sodo per far brillare la sua musica.

Un mese fa è uscito il suo secondo singolo, “ENCHANTÈ”, un brano pop con delle vene funky/r&b che fanno da sottofondo a questo inizio estate.
E’ un pezzo fresco deciso e maturo. ARTINA in questo brano ha voluto parlare di un amore che finisce, un incantesimo che si rompe.
