With dozens of breathtaking beaches and a lively and carefree village, Villasimius is one of the most appreciated and well-known tourist resorts in sardinia. Here the days pass slowly between sunbathing sessions, boat trips, and lunches overlooking the sea. The evenings light up in the lounge bars that overlook the main street of the city center and continue in the premises of the area. Among these stands out one of the longest-lived clubs on the island, the Sciabecco, “theater” of summer evenings for 26 long years.

We went to discover this historic disco, the only club in southeastern Sardinia, which after two years of limitations caused by the pandemic officially reopens “the doors of the night” to its audience with music and dancing until the first light of dawn.

We are picked up at the hotel by the shuttle made available by the club. Just call a little in advance and at the scheduled time the vehicle that leads us to the local arrives. We arrive early so that we can enjoy the pre-evening in the large garden of 2000 square meters.

We sit at a table by the pool, made sparkling by the thousand lights of the room. Lights that we see again on the lawn with the puffs illuminated where you can sit to drink the drinks ordered at the counter. From the cocktail menu we immediately notice the particular attention paid to the choice of labels. We order two Gin Tonics, one with Bombay and one with Hendrick’s, and two Moscow mules with Grey Goose vodka.

While sipping our drinks the Sciabecco begins to populate: girls and boys between 25 and 40 years (entry is strictly allowed only to adults) inaugurate the dances in the three different areas, each with different genres. The people of Sciabecco are a mix of tourists from all over the world and young people coming from all over Sardinia. Bottles of champagne travel non-stop from the bar to the privée, accompanied by twinkling lights.

We get carried away by the “Club philosophy” of the place and slide from one musical genre to another. First we dance to the rhythm of the summer 2022 catchphrases in the garden in front of the pool, where the DJ mixes commercial and reggaeton. After about an hour we move inside. In the first room the evening is dedicated to trap and hip-hop music with the younger audience unleashed. Not far away is the international house to take the stage.

The night flows fast under the starry sky of Villasimius. Between dances, drinks with friends and carefree smiles you really feel on vacation. The city is far away, the efforts of a year of work even more and it is easy not to notice the hours that pass to the rhythm of music.

Before going to sleep, escorted by the Sciabecco shuttle, we stop with Simone Murgioni, manager of the restaurant who tells us the story of this disco and shares with us some previews for this 2022. “Over the years, top world DJs such as Carl Cox and Timo Maas have alternated in consoles and also in this summer 2022 – he assures – they will come to mix in the southeast coast of the island, important names on the international scene”.

La Polizia di Stato ha arrestato in flagranza di reato un uomo di 55 anni, per l’ipotesi di reato di detenzione ai fini di spaccio di sostanza stupefacente.

Nell’ambito dei servizi finalizzati alla repressione dello spaccio di stupefacenti gli agenti della Sezione Falchi della Squadra Mobile, nella mattinata di sabato, hanno effettuato una perquisizione a sorpresa all’interno di un garage nel comune di Quartu Sant’Elena, riconducibile ad un uomo già arrestato lo scorso mese di aprile per detenzione ai fini di spaccio di stupefacenti.

Nel locale gli operatori della Polizia di Stato hanno rinvenuto diversi voluminosi involucri in cellophane contenenti marijuana essiccata, insieme a 21 panetti della stessa sostanza, già lavorati e messi sottovuoto, per un peso totale di oltre 12 chilogrammi e mezzo.

Da giorni gli investigatori tenevano sotto osservazione il garage, dove l’uomo, nell’ultimo periodo aveva traslocato numerosi effetti personali, occultando tra di essi anche lo stupefacente e un setaccio elettrico per la lavorazione della sostanza erbacea.

Nel corso della prima operazione di polizia dello scorso aprile, all’interno dell’abitazione dell’indagato erano stati trovati circa 650 grammi di hashish di cui 50 già confezionati in un panetto e i restanti in fase di lavorazione.

In particolare in casa era presente la sostanza grezza contenuta in un sacchetto e in una scatola, costituita da marijuana in fase di trasformazione, la cui lavorazione veniva effettuata con diversi strumenti tra cui una bilancia, un frullatore, un setaccio elettrico, identico a quello trovato sabato scorso e una sofisticata pressa idraulica.

Al termine delle incombenze l’indagato, è stato e accompagnato presso il carcere di Uta, in attesa dell’udienza di convalida.
