L’Amministrazione comunale ha voluto omaggiare la concittadina, sottolineando come queste ricorrenze siano la prova vivente della qualità della vita e delle radici profonde del paese: “Il nuovo anno inizia all’insegna della conferma della particolare longevità della nostra comunità”. L’Amministrazione ha colto l’occasione della festa per Zia Regina per estendere a tutta la cittadinanza gli auguri di un sereno 2026, puntando proprio sui valori della famiglia e della salute che la centenaria rappresenta perfettamente.

La storia di Zia Regina aggiunge un altro tassello al mosaico della longevità ogliastrina. In un’epoca che corre veloce, Villagrande si ferma per onorare chi, con un secolo di storia sulle spalle, continua a essere memoria storica e pilastro per le nuove generazioni.
