From Ogliastra to Nuoro, from Sulcis to Campidano, there is no limit for him: his routes are all special. Although there is always a favorite for which the heart beats a little faster. For Luca Deiana the most trodden route is undoubtedly the wild Ogliastra Supramonte, with its panoramas and its unmatched historical, archaeological, botanical, geological and gastronomic heritage. The sea that seems unreachable and that calls you from below with its crystalline blue. The scent of cistus, the magic of the nuragic columbine in bloom and the wonderful feeling of being at home. His eyes light up when he tells us how nice it is to welcome your companions early in the morning, when everything around is silent. Or when hikers are caught by the surprise of those who discover the fossil of a sea shell on top of the Supramonte. How is it possible?

Tra i bronzetti nuragici più celebri mai rinvenuti c’è sicuramente quello del guerriero con quattro occhi e quattro braccia.

Si tratta di una statuetta sicuramente molto particolare caratterizzata da un’aura di fierezza e solennità.

È esposta nel Museo Archeologico di Cagliari e fu ritrovata nelle campagne di Teti (Nuoro) insieme a decine e decine di altri reperti dell’epoca nuragica. Fu un pastore della zona a fare questa scoperta nel lontano 1865.

Ma perché questa conformazione? Le ipotesi sono tante e diverse, ma convergono su un punto. Il guerriero è raffigurato in tal modo per il suo alto valore militare. Quattro occhi e quattro braccia per spiegare empiricamente la sua grande forza durante la battaglia. Secondo alcuni studiosi raffigurerebbe un grande guerriero mortale dotato di grandi capacità. Secondo altre tesi sarebbe la rappresentazione di un’antica divinità nuragica guerriera, o di un “demone-eroe” capace di trascendere la natura umana.

Le corna sono invece un unicum in tutto l’artigianato nuragico che potrebbe essere frutto di un restauro non proprio fedele all’originale.
